I had to open sunroof and blow compressed air into the drain holes to clear them, but be careful, too much air will separate tubes from sunroof and then you will have to remove the inside paneling around sunroof to get to tubes and reconnect. This whine noise is most commonly heard between idle and 2000 rpm coming from the power steering pump. I took it to the dealer and they said it's a known issue, but no fix. To put it on the new pump I put the pulley on the shaft, put 2 thick washers on top of that, and put a bolt through all of that into the threads in the shaft. My selling dealer was clueless and replaced an alternator. The water would seep around the glass, which is expected, but both of the tubes on the front of mine were plugged, and the water would overflow behind the dash and fill my floorboards.

There are two drain tubes in the front of the sunroof that run the water down the corners to the ground and two drain tubes that drain water out the back corners. Still happens to me intermittently.
